The internet has given mankind a quantum leap forward in technology and communication. I believe that it is the responsibility of each and every one of us to make sure that the Internet is used to the ethical and social benefit of everyone.
I do not believe it should be allowed to be abused by grifters, parasites and criminals. This only spoils the experience for the other 98% of us.
I have lost count of the number of hours that I have wasted on dealing with spam, hacks and scammers for myself and my clients. I hope that one day this will change, and the technology is developed to hunt down the serious abusers and put them in jail.
In the meantime, I guess the rest of us will just have to soldier on, doing what we can to improve peoples lives through the use of the internet instead of wasting them on social media.

I am now officially retired, but I am helping my wife with her website, findyourtruth.net, and her charity (Youth Together for Human Rights Education) to run a high-quality school for illiterate and semi-literate children in Karachi, Pakistan, using a holistic educational curriculum developed by my wife, Fareeda Abbasi, and devoting my spare time to getting more schools built there.
